If I Need You, Must I Run from You?

Medium

acrylic on canvas

Dimensions

150 x 90 cm

This question speaks of the fear of needing (a person, a thing or a place) to the point of dependence, and the instinct to flee, so as to preserve our freedom. The painting presents a wild, fantastical landscape with a river splitting it in two – a perfect escape.
